The waves of the big sea do not hit the shore.
A big reef protects the Lagoa Azul beach of the big waves of the Atlantic ocean. This gives our part of the beach unique qualities; witch there is hard to find an equal in northeastern Brazil. This is a place where there is a wonderful and safe to take a bath, and great conditions for a long swim.

In the area around our resort lives a lot of very nice Brazilians – here lives regular people and city people have their vacation homes there.
In between small taverns and charming beach restaurants Tabatinga is a cozy fishing village witch has a good location when it comes to the air and sea current. By dolphins bay you are able to see the dolphins playing in the waves, and from the reef you can see if you are lucky fishing with the locals. The village has a lot of qualities, witch gives the place the little extra.

In Tabatinga people live of fishing and trading and these days also tourism.
A lot of Norwegians has the last year bought apartments in and around Tabatinga, and there is a nice Norwegian environment growing.
