Pipa is the last stop on a small sideboard from the main board, all the way down by the beach. This place is so magic that words hardly can describe it.

Pipa is an idyllic fishing village with approximately 3000 habitants. Here you can find beaches with the color of honey. Beaches witch is vibrating of samba and people. And also a wonderful and quiet nature. The beaches is the second home for the people of Pipa, here you swim, eat, dance and play football. The way of life is laid-back, and the beach is the meeting place for most of the things taking place.

The beach area of Pipa is small and intimate, but when you get around the capes bath in the north and south the beaches goes on as far as the eye can see. Here is a wonderful place for a stroll, often you get the beach for yourself. Crowded is a word that doesn’t exist here.

The last 3 – 4 years Pipa has developed to be a popular vacation spot for both Brazilians and recently for Europeans and Scandinavians. The charter tour companies are now putting Pipa on the map as the biggest four destination in Brazil beside Natal.

Recomended: Bring some US dollars or Euros. Exchange to Reals at the Natal Airport. In case the ATM in Pipa is out of order, you will have some money ofr the first days.

Banks: There is a Banco do Brasil in Goianinha and at Natal and in the shopping centers towards Ponta Negra.

Post Offices: There are post offices in Goianinha amd Tibau. Here they sell stamps as well. Poscards and envelopes can easily be bought in Pipa.

Health:

Doctors/Hospitals: The hospital in Tibau is now finished. There is a 24 hours doctor avaibility every day of the year. It´s easy to enter, and the best thing is that it´s for free.

In more serious cases you can be sent to one of the private hospitals in Natal. The standard is more or less the same as in Norway. Expenses will be covered by the travel insurance.

Dentist: In Tibau and Pipa there are dentists. Ok standard.
